The VERY Best painter of the female nude in watercolour......well....around these parts anyway.....
 Included in this catalogue are a number of watercolours of the nude in Rod Munro's inimitable style.... These are ALWAYS tasteful and elegant images and demonstrate the power of 'pure' watercolour techniques applied to the delicate tones of the female skin. In particular there are a small number of Rod's much sought after beach scenes.... drawing from the wonderful selection of beaches on the Scottish NE coast AND from some of the delightful ladies of the region. These hardy souls have been known to be required to pose (For short periods only!!!!) on local beaches at 5.00am of a fine summer morning..... The painter being more suitable clad in warm anorak and fine boots, flask of the 'Water of Life' and hot coffee to hand..... Well, they get well paid....???? |
